Last Morning at Avon Tyrrell

After a very energetic disco last night, the children enjoyed a much-needed good night’s sleep and have started the morning well-fed and full of smiles. We’re all looking forward to our own beds tonight, but spirits are high as we wrap up an unforgettable trip.

The children have been fantastic. Every single one of them will take away something meaningful from this experience. They have shown resilience, curiosity, courage, brilliant teamwork, and endless encouragement for one another. They’ve stepped outside their comfort zones more than once, and although there were moments that required them to dig deep, they pushed through every challenge with determination and heart.

These are the kinds of experiences they’ll be able to draw upon later in life—times when they’ll remember that they can overcome barriers, they can persevere, and they can rise to a challenge.

Well done, Year 6! You’ve made us incredibly proud.

Parents—get the bath running, the pillows plumped, and those arms ready for a very big hug.
