Postman Bear comes to visit Nursery

Our Nursery children recently enjoyed a truly special experience as they invited their grown-ups into school for a morning of letter writing. Together, they carefully wrote letters and postcards, sharing their thoughts, drawings, and messages with great enthusiasm.

Once their letters were ready, the children set off on a little adventure to the postbox to send them on their way. While posting their letters, they were delighted to meet a real postman, making the experience even more memorable and helping them understand how letters travel from one place to another.

The excitement continued later in the day when a very special visitor arrived—Postman Bear! To the children’s amazement, he brought replies to their letters, sparking lots of joy, curiosity, and conversation in the classroom.

This wonderful activity helped the children develop their early writing skills while bringing learning to life in a meaningful and engaging way. It was a fantastic opportunity for families to be involved in their children’s learning, and we would like to say a big thank you to all the grown-ups who joined us and made the day so special.
